Lindsay Withers
After graduating with a bachelor's degree in International Business, Lindsay worked in the passport and visa assistance business, where she enjoyed learning about international relations and travel policy. In 2009 she graduated from the George Washington University with a master's degree in Geography and a focus on community health care, migration, and geographic information systems (GIS); she focused her thesis on community health care for the Latino population in the D.C. metropolitan area. During her last year of graduate school and in the year following Lindsay worked for a primary health care policy research center coordinating and contributing to online mapping projects. Her other academic interests include socioeconomics, education, and environmental and behavioral health.
